Twilight Hours is a comic series created by Teddie Bernard. Referred to as “queered-noir,” these semi-historical detective fiction comics have a focus on LGBTQ+ characters and stories. The main events of these stories mostly take place in the late 1940s and early 1950s.

BEATRICE (2022)
Floyd Brennan is on a new case. However, as things start to unravel, a strange woman stands at the center of the mystery. When one of Brennan’s secrets is exposed, Brennan must decide if she friend or foe. Beatrice collects “Smoking Gun” and “Hard Pressed” into a 52 page full color risograph printed book.
Off the Rails! (2021)
A prequel to Smoking Gun and Hard Pressed, Flossie Brennan is excited to start her job at the Yellowjacket Detective Agency. However, her job expectations don’t quite match her employer.
Smoking Gun (2021)
When what should’ve been a smoking gun piece of evidence becomes a literal smoking gun, private investigator Floyd Brennan is suddenly left more bewildered than ever.
Hard Pressed (2022)
Hard Pressed follows the aftermath of Smoking Gun. Murder accusations put P. I. Floyd Brennan on the front cover of the newspaper—as the alleged guilty party.

Marjorie is a wife, an accountant, and a very normal woman.
